Marketing is all I’ve ever known.

• I’ve been selling things since I was five year old.
• I was writing direct response sales copy before I could spell the words “issue” and “come.”
• My mom is a marriage and family counselor and when I was 5 I asked her what she did.
• What she actually does would be challenging for a 5 year old to understand, so she told me she was an “issue solver”.
• Parents would tell her about their issues and she would help them solve the issues.
• About 5 minutes later a piece of paper that said “Half Price Ishue Solver! Com Now! And Rocks on Sale!” was hanging on my bedroom door.
• I was officially in business.
• I charged 10 cents to solve any of my family member’s “ishues” and sold rocks for a quarter each.
• My parents thought it was funny but they were extremely supportive, playing along and paying me for my expertise.
• Eventually I graduated to lemonade stands, then selling candy at school, then eventually social media marketing, with about 20 other hustles in between.
• Anytime I see anybody younger than me hustling I do everything I can to support them.
• I’ve paid kids $100 for lemonade and I give free advice to anyone that asks and that I think I can legitimately help, because I wouldn’t be where I am if my family, friends, and mentors hadn’t supported me.
• I recognize that I’m extremely blessed to have had this support as a kid and I know that many don’t, so when I have the opportunity to support others, I do everything I can to pay it forward.
• Now my mission is simple: to use my skills in advertising and marketing to help grow businesses that have a positive impact on people’s lives.
